Quantum vacuum effects have become increasingly important from the point of view of both fundamental and applied physics. Brazil has a strong tradition in this area, with researchers from different regions of the country producing significant publications on the subject and frequently participating in national and international conferences.
This workshop has two main objectives:
(1) To provide a platform for research groups from different regions of the country to share their ongoing work in the area, fostering new collaborations and strengthening the national research community.
(2) To encourage and support the training of human resources, allowing undergraduate and postgraduate students from UFPA and other institutions throughout Brazil to interact with each other and with established researchers in the field.
Additionally, we emphasize that the scope of the workshop covers multidisciplinary tools of physics, allowing not only students specializing in Quantum Field Theory, but also those from other areas - such as Condensed Matter Physics and Quantum Optics - to benefit from the event. This contributes to their academic development and the advancement of their research.
